Quality Giveaway
The selling price of any given product will reflect quality characteristics e.g. a low sulphur fuel oil will, command a higher selling price than a high sulphur fuel oil. Quality “give away” occurs when a supplier is forced or chooses to provide, a customer with a product that is or better quality than that required, and for which appropriate compensation is not received or recoverable.
